Business Development Manager

Budweiser Budvar brewery is a state owned company which is built on strong foundations, having managed to combat tough competition backed up by gigantic supranational corporations. Budweiser Budvar Czech Imported Lager is exported to more than 70 countries and the brewery is the second biggest Czech beer exporter.
We’re currently searching for an experienced and talented Business Development Manager to develop our presence in the existing strategic markets and opening the new territories for our further expansion internationally.
Candidates should have proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals, strong interpersonal and communications skills, strategic management skills, leadership, and the ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently.

Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute business development strategies and programs in the new markets
● Maintain, develop, and expand current business relationships
● Develop sustainable, ambitious long term strategies representing best interest of the company in the managed markets/channels
● Manage Business growth in line with the approved strategic plan in terms of volume, value, profit and brand health
● Develop and manage Portfolio and price strategies continuously (Route-To-Market, portfolio, marketing & sales strategies)
● Manage annual strategy planning inputs and brand planning process; distributor agreements and/or special projects
● Complete Budgets, profit forecasts and/or any other P&L reporting as required
● Evaluate Market, competitor and brand trends across the region and recommend action
● Develop Budweiser Budvar brand internationally
● Implement most appropriate marketing tools in line with the global marketing strategy and working closely with the international marketing team
● Report directly to Export Director

Requirements:

● University degree required; preferably international marketing/trade
● Minimum 5 years within international FMCG within sales or trade marketing
● Higher seniority commercial management position(s) achieved (min 3 years)
● Fluent in English, both written and spoken
● Knowledge of second language
